As an Enterprise Sales Manager, you will lead an assigned outside sales team to achieve Cox Business sales goals. This role is designed for a dynamic leader who combines office-based strategy with active customer engagement. You will be responsible for hiring, training, and coaching outside sales representatives, ensuring they possess the skills to drive revenue and retention in the assigned market.
Operating within a fast-paced, budget-driven environment, you will serve as a role model for a professional sales culture. Your day will involve setting sales goals aligned with corporate objectives, developing territory structures, and collaborating with Marketing to maximize market share. You will also act as a subject matter expert for escalated customer issues and represent Cox Business in the local community through networking and events. This position requires a balance of strategic oversight and hands-on leadership, often utilizing a personal or company vehicle for occasional travel to customer locations.
This is a hybrid position located in the Phoenix market. The role requires three or more days per week in the office to facilitate real-life collaboration, balanced with work-from-home flexibility for focused individual work.

3+ years of demonstrated success leading B2B sales teams with a track record of driving performance through coaching, accountability, and consultative selling practices. Hands-on leadership mindset with proven grit, willing to roll up sleeves and support sales efforts across large complex enterprise accounts. Experience in the telecommunications industry. BS/BA degree in a related discipline. Familiarity and knowledge of the local Phoenix Market. Experience preparing, compiling, and submitting bid responses for RFQs, RFIs, and RFPs.
