About the Role

As a Store Manager, you will lead Mattress Firm's vision and company initiatives across multiple store units. You will hold associates accountable for the execution of in-store merchandising while driving sales performance goals and supporting the omni-channel experience. This role is about more than just management; it is about ensuring teams always put the customer at the center and creating a compelling, engaging environment for the team. As an effective coach, you will develop associates' skills and performance, fostering a collaborative and motivated team dedicated to achieving success.

Day in the Life

Your day will involve conducting one-on-one meetings to gain a deep understanding of your team's motivations and aspirations, developing a comprehensive team "bio book" that evolves with your team. You will manage workforce activities, including staffing schedules and reconciling punches, while analyzing reporting to determine appropriate staffing levels. You will serve as a subject matter expert, providing technical and product knowledge to associates and customers, and analyzing data to identify skill gaps for coaching. Additionally, you will partner with marketing to plan and monitor social media strategies to positively impact brand awareness and sales.
