About the Role
The Loss Prevention Specialist provides a visible presence at store entrances and exits to mitigate theft and fraud while maintaining a safe and secure environment for associates and customers. This role is essential to protecting the "Ross treasure" and ensuring the integrity of the shopping experience.
In this position, you will demonstrate a "command" presence by making eye contact, smiling, and greeting all customers in a prominent, courteous, and friendly manner. You will wear a company-issued vest or required black attire to deter theft opportunities and monitor the Code 50 package inspection policy. Your day will involve walking the sales floor to identify and address potential theft indicators, partnering with store leadership to ensure compliance with loss prevention directives, and minimizing operational shortage. You will embrace company values and act as a guardian of our brand and assets.
