As a Manager Trainee, you are on a journey to learn the duties of a Store Manager and develop the essential skills required for the role. This position is designed for those who love the life out here and want to share it with others. You will be observing and learning how to deliver a Legendary Customer Experience, build a strong team, drive sales, and manage inventory and expenses.
In this role, you will learn to create a desirable work environment through promotions, recognition, and empowerment. You will develop the ability to solve problems and resolve conflicts for both team members and customers. You will gain hands-on experience in sales and profit management, learning to be accountable for achieving top and bottom-line results. Additionally, you will learn to manage daily merchandise flow, organize resets, and implement merchandise presentation per company standards.
You will also train on the critical paperwork required for store operations, including invoices, schedules, product orders, and returns. You will learn to conduct sales forecasting, payroll analysis, and budget reviews. As you progress, you will learn to assess and develop team members for advancement within the organization, reinforcing the mission and values of Tractor Supply Company to consistently develop the store as the "Employer of Choice."
