About the Role
The Store Manager oversees and is accountable for the total operation of a store, ensuring maximum sales and profitability. This role focuses on establishing and maintaining high standards of Guest Services while strictly controlling expenses. The position is critical for managing the full lifecycle of a seasonal store, including shrink, merchandising, inventory control, staffing, and the physical setup, pack-up, and teardown of the location.
Requirements & Physical Demands
To succeed in this role, candidates must be at least 21 years old and possess a flexible schedule. Prior retail management experience is required. The physical demands of the job are significant, requiring 8+ hours of standing and walking daily, climbing ladders, setting up fixtures, and lifting or moving items up to 50 pounds.
Compensation & Benefits
The hourly rate ranges from $20.92 to $21.17 per hour, dependent upon qualifications and experience. The position includes New Jersey Paid Sick Time and a Year End Bonus. Additional incentives include a Tear Down Premium Pay Program and a Retention Pay Program, all of which are subject to specific qualifications.
