About the Role

This position is essential to maintaining the pristine and organized environment that defines the TJ Maxx customer experience. You will be responsible for the care and cleanliness of the entire store, ensuring that every area—from the sales floor and single queue to the backroom, associate lounge, and restrooms—meets our high standards.

Your day will involve operating floor care equipment such as scrubbers and buffers, as well as performing dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and spot cleaning. Beyond floor care, you will play a key role in store recovery, adhering to merchandising philosophy and signage standards. You will also cross-train in multiple areas of the store, such as the backroom and front end, to support business needs and ensure seamless operations.

As a member of the team, you will model our customer experience practices with both internal and external customers. You are expected to embody a positive store culture built on honesty, integrity, and respect, while communicating effectively with management and associates. This role requires physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and lift heavy objects, as well as the ability to adapt to changing directions and unexpected situations.
