As a Store Bookkeeper, you will join a team dedicated to maintaining the financial integrity and operational efficiency of our stores. This role is pivotal in supporting the store manager by implementing sound accounting decisions that align with Town Pump's standards, policies, and procedures.
In this position, you will serve as a key partner in office operations, handling everything from vendor invoicing and computer data entry to shortage controls. Your day will involve prioritizing and organizing office tasks, ensuring the security of all store assets, and maintaining strict control over cash funds, fuel, and inventories. You will be responsible for auditing shift reports, completing accounts receivable transactions, and ensuring the accurate completion of all store paperwork, including daily reports, purchases, and inventory adjustments.
Beyond financial duties, you will set an exemplary example for co-workers regarding professionalism, attitude, and teamwork, particularly in customer service and convenience store operations. Success in this role requires a valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record, reflecting the dynamic nature of the position.
