Town Pump is a growing company with ever-increasing opportunities for career growth. We are looking for a motivated and outgoing Store Weekend Bookkeeper to join our team.
As a Store Bookkeeper, you will partner with the store manager to implement sound accounting decisions consistent with Town Pump standards, policies, and procedures. Your day will involve planning and organizing office procedures, managing vendor invoicing, handling computer data entries, and overseeing shortage controls. You will be responsible for the security of all store assets, maintaining control of the store cash fund, fuel, and inventories, and auditing shift reports.
You will serve as an exemplary model for co-workers regarding professionalism, attitude, and teamwork, particularly in customer service and convenience store operations. Your responsibilities include prioritizing office tasks, completing accounts receivable transactions such as counting money, deposit slips, banking, and closeouts, and ensuring the accurate completion of all store paperwork, including daily reports, purchases, mark-ups/downs, and inventory adjustments. Additionally, you will order office supplies, process store invoices, record sales and purchases in the store's running book, balance store records to office reports, and verify timecards for payroll.
