At CareSTL Health, we operate on the belief that health care is a right, not a privilege. Our mission is to serve our community with unwavering dedication to our core values: Customer Service, Community, Commitment, Compassion, and Competence. As part of our Facilities team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our Health Center locations remain safe, functional, and welcoming environments for patients and staff alike.
The Stationary Engineer is the backbone of our building infrastructure, responsible for operating and maintaining the stationary engines, boilers, and mechanical equipment that provide essential utilities like light, heat, and power. This role goes beyond simple maintenance; it is about ensuring the continuous, safe operation of our facilities to support our healthcare mission.
In this position, you will partner with the Director of Facilities to oversee the health of our heating, air conditioning, and ventilating systems. Your day will involve implementing routine monitoring systems, conducting preventative maintenance, and performing inspections across the building, lawns, and parking lots. You will also collaborate with security personnel to test alarm systems and manage contractor work to ensure all projects meet our high standards. By maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with safety codes, you help us create a secure environment where our community can thrive.
Candidates selected for an interview will be contacted directly by the Facilities leadership team. The process includes a review of your professional credentials, specifically your City of St. Louis Class I Stationary Engineer's license and relevant certifications. Successful candidates will proceed to a discussion regarding their experience and fit within our team culture.
CareSTL Health is an equal opportunity employer. We consider all qualified applicants for employment without regard to race, color, sex, national origin, religion, veteran status, or disability status. We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce that reflects the community we serve.
