About the Role
The HVAC Boiler Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of heating systems for both commercial and residential clients. This position is dedicated to the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of boiler systems, including gas, oil, and steam units. The role exists to maintain operational continuity while strictly adhering to all applicable local, state, and federal safety codes and standards.
Technicians in this role serve as the first line of defense for system reliability. The day-to-day involves diagnosing complex mechanical and electrical issues, conducting routine preventative maintenance, and responding to emergency service calls. Success in this position requires the ability to interpret blueprints and technical manuals while communicating effectively with customers and team members to recommend necessary upgrades or replacements.
Work Environment
This role demands adaptability, as work is performed both indoors and outdoors across various weather conditions. Technicians must be prepared for exposure to heat, noise, and mechanical hazards. The position may also require on-call availability, weekend shifts, or overtime to meet service demands.
