Key Responsibilities
- check_circleVerify basic system performance against design intent using checklists and instructions
- check_circleParticipate in warranty service calls to help document issues and communicate with customers
- check_circleDocument procedures, test results, and system configurations in service and startup reports
- check_circleCollaborate with contractors, controls teams, and manufacturers as part of a learning experience
- check_circleMaintain service vehicles, tools, and inventory in an organized and safe condition
- check_circleFollow all safety policies including lockout/tagout and PPE usage requirements
- check_circlePrepare for jobs by gathering tools, materials, and confirming site information
- check_circleAssist with factory-authorized startup and performance checks on hydronic systems and components
- check_circleSupport technicians in diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and control-related issues
- check_circleAssist with owner-operator training by preparing materials and reinforcing maintenance steps
- check_circleTravel locally and occasionally overnight to job sites with technicians
Requirements
- verifiedHigh school diploma, GED, trade program, or associate degree in HVAC, mechanical, electrical, or related field
- verifiedValid driver's license and reliable transportation
- verifiedAbility to pass background check and drug screening
- verifiedWillingness to complete required product, factory, and safety training modules
Nice to Have
Technical coursework or lab experience. Some hands-on experience with mechanical or electrical systems, including exposure to boilers, water heaters, pumps, or controls.
