Our vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all. As a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions, we accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate, and advance faster than ever.
The US Expansion Construction team drives the design and construction efforts for high-tech, large-scale projects across the United States. Our current portfolio includes two high-volume manufacturing facilities in Boise, Idaho (ID1 and ID2), and a greenfield manufacturing facility in Clay, New York.
As the NY Wet Mechanical Systems Operations Engineer, you will serve as a pivotal link between design and operations. You will oversee the design, construction, and commissioning of wet mechanical systems—including plumbing, HVAC hydronic systems, and process piping for water-based systems—specifically for cutting-edge semiconductor manufacturing facilities. Working within the US Expansion Strategic Programs team, you will manage design and construction partners to ensure projects meet stringent specifications, performance standards, and regulatory requirements from start to finish.
This role offers a unique career trajectory: you will guide the project through its construction and commissioning phases, after which you will transition to the NY operations engineering group to focus on operational support and sustaining engineering activities. Success in this position requires deep technical expertise in wet mechanical systems, strong project management capabilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
