We are seeking a highly skilled Professional Mechanical Engineer (PE) to lead complex engineering projects for hospitals, clinical labs, and outpatient facilities. In this role, you will ensure HVAC systems meet stringent safety, infection control, and regulatory standards. You will partner with a team of architects and engineers to create quality construction documents, develop initial concepts, and consult with clients to determine needs and design systems that meet predetermined budgets.
Your day-to-day will involve conducting site assessments, preparing preliminary budgets, and representing Cushing Terrell in project meetings. You will also prepare scale drawings and contract documents, as well as conduct on-site observations during construction to monitor plan compliance, including the administration of addendums, substitutions, and change orders.
