About the Role
The MEP Modeler is a key member of our virtual construction team in Sacramento, CA. This position works closely with Trade Specialists, Foremen, Project Managers, and the design team during and after the preconstruction phase of Design-Build, Design Assist, or Hard Bid projects.
You will be responsible for creating constructible, clash-free BIM models for MEP systems and producing detailed fabrication drawings that enable the offsite pre-fabrication of these systems. This role bridges the gap between design and field execution, ensuring that models are not only accurate but also optimized for efficient installation and cost-effectiveness.

Requirements
- verified5+ years of experience modeling and detailing MEP systems
- verifiedProficiency in Autodesk software (Fabrication MEP, Revit, Recap, ACC, Evolve, Autocad, Navisworks)

Nice to Have
Field experience installing plumbing/piping systems. Knowledge of applicable codes. Experience using GTP-Stratus design and manufacturing software. Experience in managing teams. Proficiency with multiple cloud-based platforms (Procore, SharePoint, Revizto, ACC, Box, etc.). Experience with task and workflow management tools (Monday.com, Trello, MS Planner, etc.). Experience with industrialized construction and offsite manufacturing. Experience training others in 3D design and BIM software and best practices.
