About the Role
We are seeking an Electrical BIM Engineer for our office in Ozone Park, New York. This role is designed to support the planning, design, coordination, and execution of electrical construction projects. You will serve as a vital link between design and construction, utilizing Revit modeling skills and a solid understanding of electrical building systems to ensure project success.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to grow professionally, and capable of collaborating effectively with project teams, subcontractors, and design consultants. You will work on extraordinary projects that require exceptional talent, helping to bring complex electrical systems to life from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleDevelop, modify, and maintain detailed electrical models and drawings in Revit
- check_circleCoordinate building system models with other disciplines to ensure accurate clash detection
- check_circlePrepare layout drawings, one-line diagrams, panel schedules, and equipment layouts
- check_circleSupport senior engineers with design review, technical submittals, and shop drawings
- check_circleAssist in creating material takeoffs, product data sheets, and equipment specifications
- check_circleParticipate in field walks to verify site conditions and support installation planning
- check_circleCommunicate with project teams, vendors, and subcontractors to clarify design intent
- check_circleAttend project coordination meetings and track design updates, RFI responses, and meeting minutes
- check_circleCollaborate with BIM teams to ensure all models meet company standards and project requirements
- check_circleMaintain organized project documentation including drawings, revisions, logs, and correspondence
- check_circleAssist with QA/QC of electrical drawings and BIM models
- check_circleSupport commissioning activities by reviewing test results and confirming final documentation accuracy
Requirements
- verified1–5 years of experience as an electrical engineer in construction or design/build industry
- verifiedRevit proficiency (3D modeling, coordination, Creating Shop Drawings)
- verifiedBachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field preferred
- verifiedHS Diploma required
- verifiedWorking knowledge of AutoCAD, Navisworks, Revizto and BIM collaboration platforms
- verifiedUnderstanding of NEC, electrical codes, and typical construction practices
- verifiedFamiliarity with electrical systems such as power distribution, lighting, life safety, and low-voltage systems
- verifiedEligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
Nice to Have
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field. Experience working for or with an electrical contractor. Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Navisworks, Revizto, and BIM collaboration platforms.
