About the Role

As a Design Engineer, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality HVAC and plumbing system designs and construction drawings. Your work will directly maximize installation efficiency and provide long-term value to our customers. You will design systems for multi-family, single-family, and light commercial buildings, handling everything from storm and sanitary sizing to gas pipe sizing and HVAC equipment selection.

Your day will involve calculating heating, cooling, and ventilation loads, and ensuring all designs adhere to applicable code requirements. You will coordinate closely with other design disciplines, architects, and owners throughout the design and construction phases. A key part of your responsibility is maintaining accurate mechanical and plumbing documents during construction and effectively communicating changes to field personnel. You will also attend design meetings and perform site and field inspections to ensure project success.
