About the Role
As an Electrical or Senior Electrical Engineer, you will join a team that values outgoing, independent, and detail-oriented individuals. This role exists to drive the design and preparation of electrical construction documents and specifications for a diverse portfolio ranging from K-12 schools and universities to government facilities and industrial projects.
You will be part of an ever-developing profession where you constantly learn new things and build industry contacts. The day-to-day involves designing power, lighting, and signal systems while collaborating with architectural and mechanical teams to meet rigorous building standards. You will lead projects, manage client relationships, and assume project manager leadership roles on prime electrical assignments. We strive to operate as a family, offering a supportive environment where you can develop unique solutions to challenging problems.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circlePerform calculations for lighting, power equipment, distribution, conductor sizing, and fault coordination
- check_circleConduct energy analysis and incorporate LEED design criteria for sustainable practices and energy efficiency
- check_circleDesign and apply low voltage systems including data networks, security, CCTV, and fire alarm systems
- check_circleDesign power, lighting, and signal systems for commercial, educational, industrial, and governmental buildings
- check_circleAssume project manager leadership roles, meet with clients, and prepare cost estimates for design scope
- check_circleUtilize AutoCAD and Revit software to create 3D models and BIM-compliant construction drawings
- check_circlePerform field investigations of existing conditions and participate in project punchouts
- check_circlePrepare electrical construction documents, specifications, and code-compliant designs for new and renovation projects
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor degree minimum
- verified5 years experience minimum
- verifiedFlorida PE License required
- verifiedFDLE Level II screening required
- verifiedFour year electrical engineering degree from ABET institution
- verifiedWillingness to relocate
Nice to Have
Knowledge and experience working with Building Information Models and specifically Autodesk's REVIT program. LEED knowledge and ability. Experience demonstrated in similar work.
