Glumac, a Tetra Tech company, is expanding its team in Seattle, Washington, with a Senior Electrical Lead Engineer. This role is designed to shape and drive the success of the electrical discipline within the office and region, guiding technical excellence, mentorship, and project execution across a diverse portfolio including healthcare, education, and commercial buildings.
As a Senior Electrical Lead Engineer, you will serve as a local supervisor and strategic leader, ensuring high-quality project delivery while expanding the firm's industry impact. You will act as the Engineer of Record, leading technical communication with clients and collaborating with architects, consultants, code officials, and contractors. Your day-to-day involves overseeing the design of electrical systems for complex projects, managing regional staff workloads, and refining technical standards to implement best practices locally.
Beyond technical oversight, you will play an integral role in regional leadership by contributing to strategic initiatives and organizing discipline meetings. You will mentor staff through structured development plans, support recruitment and retention efforts, and assist in the marketing and development of new and existing clientele by writing proposals. Additionally, you will serve as a technical advisor for claims or challenges requiring engineering expertise and participate in industry organizations to develop peer relationships and business contacts.
