The day-to-day rhythm involves monitoring all department functions, from stock replenishment and inventory management to the proper scheduling of technicians. You will ensure the pharmacy operates in full compliance with local, state, and federal laws, including HIPAA, while maintaining a professional image through personal conduct and the physical condition of the facility. This role requires a balance of technical precision in filling prescriptions and administering vaccines, alongside the soft skills necessary to manage conflict, support diverse customer needs, and foster a culture of respect, honesty, and integrity.
