This position serves as a vital bridge between our pharmacy operations and the community, delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience. You will work under the direct supervision of pharmacists to assist in the practice of pharmacy while ensuring every interaction is courteous, fair, and efficient. From greeting customers to resolving issues, you play a key role in maintaining the positive reputation of our store.
Your day will be a dynamic mix of customer service and pharmacy support. You will engage with patients and shoppers by offering assistance with products, recommending items, and providing fast, friendly checkout service. In the pharmacy, you will utilize specialized systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and assist pharmacists with workflow and scheduling. You will also handle clerical duties such as processing third-party claims, managing inventory, and maintaining accurate records.
Beyond the counter, you will contribute to store operations by keeping counters and shelves clean and well-merchandised, constructing displays, and ensuring compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products. You may also support the photo department and manage web pick-up responsibilities, ensuring customers receive their orders promptly.
We are committed to your growth. You will earn and maintain PTCB certification through our designated training program and complete required continuing education to stay current with healthcare and pharmacy developments.
