The Hebrew Rehabilitation Center's Short Stay Rehab Unit (RSU) is dedicated to maximizing the quality of life for patients through high-quality, person-centered care. This position serves as an integral member of the clinical support team, operating within a culture that champions patient dignity, choice, and independence.
As a Registered Nurse on the night shift, you will be the anchor of the unit during the 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM window. You will utilize the nursing process to ensure safe, efficient, and meaningful patient encounters, actively supporting culture change initiatives and serving as a role model for the team. Your presence ensures that every patient interaction is positive, even during the overnight hours.

You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team—including physicians, nurse practitioners, social workers, therapists, and dietitians—to meet complex clinical needs and monitor outcomes. The role emphasizes empathy, compassion, and the ability to foster a supportive environment where patients feel safe and respected.
This is a 36-hour per week position on the night shift, covering 12-hour shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM. The schedule operates on a rotating basis, requiring work every other weekend. The role involves a primary nursing model where you maintain accountability for a specific set of assigned patients, while also providing clinical and supervisory oversight to the unit. Depending on the shift, you may assume charge nurse responsibilities, including delegating assignments to LPNs and PCAs, creating schedules, and co-signing assessments.
