Hebrew SeniorLife is dedicated to a philosophy that recognizes the dignity and choice of every patient in all aspects of daily life. Our mission is to maximize the quality of life for those we serve by fostering a culture of empathy, compassion, and independence. We strive to make every patient encounter a positive and meaningful experience within a supportive social and work environment.
As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be an integral member of our clinical support team, utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality care. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team—including physicians, nurse practitioners, social workers, therapists, and dietitians—to meet the unique clinical needs of our patients.
In this role, you will serve as a role model and mentor to licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and elder assistants, actively supporting our culture change initiatives. Whether managing a primary nursing model for a set of assigned patients or stepping into charge nurse responsibilities, you will ensure that care plans reflect an individualized approach that honors patient autonomy. You will also participate in shared governance, performance improvement projects, and the development of new work processes, ensuring that every interaction contributes to a thriving community.
Candidates are expected to demonstrate a professional, proactive, and collaborative demeanor. We seek individuals who are conscientious, results-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills, including the ability to adapt to changing priorities with sound judgment and a sense of humor. The ideal candidate will be motivated to learn, flexible to change, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a focus on quality outcomes.
Hebrew SeniorLife is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background, ensuring a workplace where every team member can thrive.
