We are seeking a dedicated MRI Technologist to join the Radiology MR Scan team at the UCHealth Anschutz Outpatient Pavilion in Aurora, Colorado. This is a full-time, onsite position working weekend nights, where you will perform magnetic resonance imaging in strict accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
In this role, you will be more than just a technician; you will be a vital part of the patient experience. Your day will involve reviewing patient history and physician orders, scheduling exams, and educating patients on procedures to ensure their understanding and cooperation. You will prepare and administer contrast media when ordered, continuously monitor patient conditions, and respond to changes in status. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to positioning patients, selecting appropriate imaging parameters, and troubleshooting equipment to ensure high-quality diagnostic results. This position requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
