We are seeking a Staff Engineer to join our Geotechnical Department in Newark or Wall, NJ. In this role, you will be part of a team dedicated to creating solutions that make a real difference in people's lives. You will assist in planning and executing geotechnical field investigations, logging soil and rock samples, and coordinating laboratory testing. Working under the supervision of senior engineers, you will perform basic geotechnical analyses and support the preparation of reports regarding foundations, earthwork, and site development.
This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with other engineering disciplines on multi-disciplinary projects and participate in construction observation and field inspections. You will maintain accurate field notes and data records while adhering to strict company safety standards. The role requires a willingness to perform fieldwork in varying outdoor conditions, balancing independent work with effective teamwork.
