The Staff Development Coordinator is a pivotal role designed for a detail-oriented professional with a passion for training and educating stakeholders. This position exists to ensure the highest standard of care for our residents by developing and implementing comprehensive job skills training and in-service education programs. You will be the driving force behind maintaining regulatory compliance and monitoring employee health, ensuring that every nursing department employee is equipped with the necessary skills to provide exceptional care.
In this role, you will regularly assess the competency of C.N.A. skill performance and the developmental needs of direct care staff. Your day-to-day impact involves providing immediate one-on-one instruction and skill training to new staff in any deficient areas, ensuring that no nursing assistant performs a task with a resident until they are fully proficient.
