The Nursing Technician plays a vital role in assisting patients with activities of daily living and providing basic nursing care to non-acutely ill patients. You will function under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN) and assist in planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating activities within the nursing unit.
This position serves a diverse patient population ranging from adolescence to geriatrics, with a focus on surgical and medical clinical care. You will work in an in-patient nursing floor setting, ensuring a safe and clean environment while adhering to established policies and procedures. The role requires the ability to interact respectfully with staff, patients, and families, offering ideas, identifying issues, and delivering services with a high level of customer service.
To join our team, candidates must complete Hospital and Departmental orientation, followed by annual Employee Comprehensive Education, Sexual Harassment, and Compliance trainings. As a condition of employment, all staff are required to be vaccinated against influenza.
