The RN Staff Development Coordinator serves as a vital educational leader within our post-acute care facility. This position is dedicated to planning, organizing, and directing all in-service education to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. The role exists to elevate the quality of care by empowering nursing associates and staff with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in their daily duties.
In this capacity, you will act as a bridge between clinical expertise and educational delivery. You will be responsible for implementing departmental programs, goals, and policies while maintaining a positive, customer-service-oriented attitude toward patients. Success in this role requires the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant, interpret complex regulations, and foster professional working relationships with associates, vendors, and interdisciplinary teams.
Candidates selected for this position must hold a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing within the applicable state. Additionally, CPR certification is required upon hire or must be obtained during the orientation period and maintained throughout employment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong desire to train and educate others, possess expert knowledge in the field of nursing practice, and display integrity by adhering to Life Care's Code of Conduct.
