Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) (Registered Nurse/RN)

About the Role

The RN - Assistant Director of Nursing serves as a vital partner to the Director of Nursing, helping to plan, organize, and direct the Nursing Services department. This role is dedicated to ensuring the highest degree of quality patient care in alignment with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.

In this position, you will act as a liaison between patients, families, and support departments to effectively plan for patient needs. You will be expected to exercise independent judgment when circumstances warrant, while maintaining expert knowledge of post-acute care practices. The role requires implementing departmental goals and policies, managing infection control responsibilities, and stepping in to assume the duties of the Director of Nursing during their absence.
