About the Role
As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will be a vital member of an interdisciplinary team, working under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to implement individualized treatment plans. Your primary mission is to help residents regain mobility, safety, and independence through therapeutic exercises, gait and balance training, and transfer techniques. You will collaborate closely with physical therapists, nurses, and other care providers to adjust care plans and support discharge planning, ensuring a seamless continuum of care.
In this role, you will not only deliver clinical interventions but also serve as an educator for patients, families, and caregivers, teaching them essential exercises and safety strategies. You will be responsible for documenting patient progress and outcomes in compliance with regulatory and company standards, ensuring that every interaction upholds high clinical quality standards and infection control protocols.
