The Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) drives revenue, adoption, and growth for AWS across the spectrum of customers, from the fastest-growing small and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level public sector clients. We work backwards from our customers' most complex and business-critical problems to build and execute go-to-market plans that turn AWS ideas into multi-billion-dollar businesses. Our teams include business development, specialists, and technical solutions architects who provide expertise across the entire lifecycle of an AWS customer initiative.
Within WWSO, this position is part of the Worldwide Specialist Team, serving as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for designing Graph architectures that leverage Amazon Neptune. You will partner closely with the Database Services team, Business Development, and Sales to enable large-scale customer use cases and drive the adoption and revenue of AWS.
As an AWS Specialist Solutions Architect, you will be a technologist with deep domain-specific expertise, addressing advanced concepts and feature designs for customers with complex challenges. You will craft scalable, flexible, and resilient technical architectures, guiding customers as they refactor applications or designing entirely new cloud-based systems.
In this specific capacity, you will work with the largest companies in the world to design flexible and cost-effective cloud-based caching solutions. Your day-to-day involves developing white papers, blogs, reference implementations, and presentations to enable customers and partners to fully leverage AWS and Amazon Neptune. You will also create field enablement materials for the broader Solutions Architect population, helping them understand how to integrate AWS caching services into customer architectures.
You will represent the voice of the customer, bringing feedback to product teams to influence feature development and the future roadmap. As a thought leader, you will share best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, and public-speaking events like AWS Summit and re:Invent. You will foster trusted advisor relationships with influential technical decision-makers to further the adoption of AWS services.
At AWS, we have a credo of "Work hard. Have fun. Make history." We value curiosity and connection, fostering an inclusive team culture where employee-led and company-sponsored affinity groups empower people to take pride in what makes us unique.
