The Senior Supply Quality Specialist serves as a critical support pillar for the Corporate and Plant Food Safety and Quality teams across all Reser's Fine Foods, Linares, and Don Pancho facilities. This role is responsible for owning the creation and maintenance of corporate food safety procedures, conducting food fraud reviews of ingredient specifications, and managing the food safety approval process for ingredients.
In this position, you will perform food safety audits for internal facilities, co-manufacturers, and suppliers while ensuring strict compliance with the food safety vendor approval program. You will act as a key partner to Purchasing and R&D in sourcing new and current ingredients, approving substitutions, and evaluating shelf-life extensions. The role requires a proactive approach to developing best practices for the continuous improvement of the Supplier Management Program and reviewing corrective actions when quality or food safety incidents occur.
