We are seeking a Certified Dietary Manager to lead the food-service department within a Skilled Nursing Facility. This role is pivotal in ensuring that food quality, safety standards, and client expectations are met while maintaining compliance with facility policies and federal/state regulations.
In this position, you will provide leadership and guidance to a team of food-service personnel. Your day will involve managing daily operations, from recruiting and training staff to developing work schedules and monitoring budgets. You will collaborate closely with clients, facility staff, physicians, and consultants to create menus that respond to client preferences and therapeutic needs. Additionally, you will oversee food safety protocols using HACCP guidelines and support the Registered Dietitian in developing appropriate dietary plans for residents.
