This combined leadership role serves as the strategic owner for the Kittyhawk ERP instance and its associated bolt-on applications. You will be responsible for defining the vision for the database and platform landscape, ensuring high availability, optimal performance, and a compliant cyber posture. The position exists to drive the stability and evolution of critical ERP systems through sophisticated automation, integrated monitoring, and metric analytics.
In this role, you will lead, coach, and develop database teams to foster performance and accountability. You will partner with vendors, senior leaders, and the Whittle DBA leader to align technology initiatives with business goals and enterprise architecture standards. Your day-to-day involves overseeing the planning and delivery of Oracle and ERP initiatives, managing technical upgrades, and ensuring the synchronization of solutions across the organization.
A significant portion of your focus will be on application support leadership. You will lead the response to P1 incidents, coordinate patching activities, and manage change management and production releases. You will also be responsible for monitoring the escalation process, tracking team KPIs for incident management, and ensuring compliance with activities such as separation of duties, CMMC, and SOX. This role requires the ability to coordinate support teams around US hours and manage outages during both working and weekend times.
