About the Role

This combined leadership role serves as the strategic guardian of the Kittyhawk ERP instance and its associated bolt-on applications. You will be responsible for defining the strategic vision for the database and platform landscape, ensuring high availability, optimal performance, and a compliant cyber posture. The position exists to drive the evolution of our ERP ecosystem through sophisticated automation, integrated monitoring, and metric analytics, minimizing incident rates while aligning technology initiatives with broader business goals.

In this capacity, you will lead, coach, and develop database teams to foster performance and accountability. Your day-to-day involves overseeing the planning and delivery of Oracle and ERP initiatives, ensuring on-time, on-budget execution with strong quality and security outcomes. You will partner with vendors, senior leaders, and the Whittle DBA leader to synchronize solutions and manage the lifecycle of database hardware, software, and services.

The role demands a proactive approach to risk management, ensuring compliance with regulatory, security, and internal policies through controls and audits. You will lead technical upgrades, manage the application support roadmap, and coordinate the team around Kittyhawk (US) hours to handle P1 incidents, patching activities, change management, and production releases. Additionally, you will monitor escalation processes and team KPIs to maintain operational excellence.
