This combined leadership position serves as the strategic anchor for the Kittyhawk ERP ecosystem and its associated bolt-on applications. The role exists to ensure the high availability, optimal performance, and cyber compliance of the underlying database and platform infrastructure. By leveraging sophisticated automation, integrated monitoring, and metric analytics, the incumbent will drive a culture of continuous improvement, minimizing incident rates while aligning technology initiatives with broader business goals.
The day-to-day rhythm involves leading the technical vision for Oracle R12 database architectures and overseeing the full lifecycle of application support. You will coordinate critical patching, change management, and production releases, often requiring flexibility to support US hours and weekend outages. Beyond technical execution, the role focuses on leadership—coaching teams, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring synchronization with the broader Whittle DBA organization to maintain a resilient and secure environment.
