This combined leadership position serves as the strategic owner for the Kittyhawk ERP instance and its associated bolt-on applications. The role is dedicated to ensuring high availability, optimal performance, and a compliant cyber posture across the entire database and platform ecosystem. By leveraging sophisticated automation, integrated monitoring, and metric analytics, the incumbent will drive low incident rates and operational excellence.
You will act as the primary liaison between technology initiatives and business goals, aligning the database strategy with enterprise architecture standards. The role requires a unique blend of technical depth in Oracle R12 and leadership acumen to guide teams through complex upgrades, security compliance, and critical incident management. Whether coordinating weekend patching activities or leading P1 incident resolution, you will ensure the stability and vitality of the Kittyhawk environment.
You will partner closely with the Whittle DBA leader to synchronize solutions and engage with IT leadership, application teams, and business stakeholders. This role sits at the intersection of technical execution and strategic planning, requiring you to lead technical upgrades, manage vendor relationships, and foster a culture of continuous professional growth within the database team.
Candidates for this role must be legally authorized to work in the U.S., as visa sponsorship is not available. The position is remote and may require travel up to 30%.

Practical experience with leadership of database and platform; Practical experience with leadership and coordination of ERP Oracle application; Experience with Kittyhawk ERP support; Understanding of Oracle Database concepts (familiar with Oracle data models, tables, Oracle data types, etc.); Understanding of Oracle database architecture; Experience with tools and management (Oracle Enterprise Manager, SQL Plus, Oracle DB, Weblogic, Apache, JAVA, etc.); Understanding of performance tuning concepts (backup, recovery, migration strategies); Oracle certification; Experience with Oracle implementation R12 or R12 Oracle support; Technical proficiency in Oracle R12; Functional knowledge of Oracle R12 Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or Finance Oracle modules; Project management and change management knowledge; Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders and manage teams; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
