The Integration and Test Engineer serves as a strategic leader within our defense technology division, tasked with synthesizing and defining robust test processes for complex electro-optical and electro-mechanical systems. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between design and operational reality, ensuring that technical obligations are met from the assembly level through to full system integration.
As a senior professional, you will provide technical leadership as the I&T Lead, collaborating closely with Integrated Product Team (IPT) leads on design and development challenges. Your work directly impacts the success of Submarine and Surface Imaging systems, where you will guide engineering teams with insights drawn from lessons learned in previous projects. Beyond technical execution, you will manage Control Account Manager (CAM) responsibilities, overseeing schedules, estimates, and the flow-down of customer requirements to commodity teams.
This position offers a dynamic day-to-day environment where you will lead customer discussions at high-level forums, including Systems Engineering Working Groups and Test Readiness Reviews. You will be responsible for generating test validation metrics, supporting business development proposals, and mentoring less tenured engineers. The role demands a blend of deep technical expertise in systems engineering and the ability to drive moderate to substantial improvements in our operational processes and procedures.
