The Integration and Test Engineer serves as a strategic leader in defining and synthesizing test processes for complex electro-optical and electro-mechanical systems. This role is pivotal in coordinating activities from the assembly level through to full system integration, ensuring all technical obligations are met with precision. As a senior professional, you will provide technical leadership as the I&T Lead, collaborating closely with Integrated Product Team (IPT) leads on design and development challenges specific to Submarine and Surface Imaging systems.
You will act as a bridge between engineering development teams and broader project goals, offering guidance based on lessons learned from past design cycles. The position involves managing Control Account Manager (CAM) responsibilities for System Qualification Work Breakdown Structures, including schedule management and work estimation. Beyond technical execution, you will mentor less tenured engineers, lead customer discussions at high-level forums such as the Systems Engineering Working Group, and support business development by generating technical volumes and approaches for proposals.
