Sr. Specialist, Integration & Test Engineer

About the Role

The Integration and Test Engineer serves as a strategic partner in defining and synthesizing test processes for complex electro-optical and electro-mechanical systems. This role is designed to bridge the gap between design and operations, ensuring that technical obligations are met from the assembly level through to full system integration. As a senior professional, you will provide technical leadership as an I&T Lead, collaborating closely with Integrated Product Team (IPT) leads to resolve design and development challenges.

In this position, you will guide engineering development teams by offering improvements grounded in lessons learned from Submarine and Surface Imaging system design. Your day-to-day involves managing Control Account Manager (CAM) responsibilities for System Qualification Work Breakdown Structures, including schedule management and work estimation. You will coordinate the flow-down of customer requirements to commodity teams and support critical design reviews (SDR, PDR, CDR). Beyond technical execution, you will contribute to business development by generating technical volumes and approaches for proposals, while also mentoring less tenured engineers and leading customer discussions at various forums, including Systems Engineering Working Groups and Test Readiness Reviews.
