The Senior Property Manager provides daily oversight of a residential portfolio, ensuring that all assigned building assets are maintained to the highest standards. This role combines strategic leadership, operational excellence, and hands-on management to safeguard the financial health and physical condition of the properties while fostering a high-quality living experience for shareholders.
You will oversee the daily operations of a portfolio comprising 5 buildings and a townhome cluster, totaling between 2,100 and 2,300 apartments. In this capacity, you will lead a diverse team including Junior Property Managers, Building Supervisors, administrative staff, and utility personnel, maintaining a staff-to-unit ratio of 1:250.
Your day-to-day involves partnering with the Director of Property Management to execute strategic asset management plans, leading financial forecasting and budgeting, and coordinating with skilled trades, finance, and compliance teams. You will also conduct joint inspections with municipal agencies such as HUD (NSPIRE), FDNY, the Department of Health, and the Department of Buildings to ensure full regulatory adherence.

Master's degree (MBA or related) or relevant certifications. Certified Property Manager (CPM), Residential Management Professional (RMP), RAM Certification, or equivalent. NYS Real Estate Broker License.
