This Real Estate Transaction Manager serves as the strategic guardian of a healthcare property portfolio, overseeing the full lifecycle from land acquisition to asset disposition. The role exists to ensure operational continuity across health system facilities by managing complex lease negotiations, resolving landlord defaults, and recovering casualty losses. You will act as the primary liaison between the organization, landlords, developers, and internal stakeholders, ensuring that all real estate activities align with the health system's strategic goals while maintaining strict financial and regulatory compliance.
In this position, you will navigate the intricacies of healthcare-specific regulations, including the Stark Law and Anti-Kickback Statutes, to mitigate legal and financial risks. Your day-to-day involves directing investigative due diligence efforts, leading multidisciplinary teams through closing deadlines, and negotiating favorable terms for leases and purchase agreements. Whether managing routine CAM reconciliations or responding to property damage events like fires or floods, you will be the central point of contact for safeguarding assets and restoring operations.
Candidates will be evaluated based on their ability to demonstrate deep expertise in healthcare real estate, regulatory compliance, and complex transaction management. The selection process focuses on identifying individuals who can effectively lead due diligence teams and navigate high-stakes negotiations within a regulated environment.
