About the Role

The Sr. Strategic Account Executive serves as a senior-level individual contributor and liaison to assigned client accounts. This role is designed for those who enjoy flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. while taking on tough challenges. You will be responsible for developing client trend management strategies, retaining and growing assigned clients, cultivating multi-level client relationships, and managing staff.

In this position, you will partner with clients to review benefits, drug utilization, and trend management strategies. You will lead the development of strategic plans, manage contract renewals to secure multi-year agreements, and ensure profitability. The role requires you to provide leadership to client services team members, supervise implementation plans, and act as a mentor to new staff. You will stay abreast of industry trends and demonstrate expertise in pharmacy benefit strategies and clinical programs to present these insights effectively to clients and internal teams.

Requirements

  • verified4+ years of strategic PBM client account and contract management
  • verified2+ years of experience in the Health Plan Commercial Market
  • verifiedAdvanced proficiency in delivering presentations
  • verifiedProficient with MS suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • verifiedUnderstanding of pharmacy benefit strategies and pricing practices
  • verifiedProven solid PBM business and financial acumen
  • verifiedProven excellent negotiation skills
  • verifiedWilling or ability to travel up to 25% of the time
  • verifiedPass a drug test

Nice to Have

3+ years of experience with upsell programs to clients. 2+ years of PBM operations experience. Experience working with PBM Medicare Part D benefits. Project Management Experience/Certification. Familiarity with RxClaim; Tracker and Navigator.
