About the Role

Reporting directly to the Factory Director, the Senior Manager of Manufacturing Excellence (ManEx) and Logistics will drive the Raeford, NC site to meet 'Best in Industry' standards. As the home of the Unilever Deodorant Center of Excellence, this factory is a critical hub for personal care manufacturing. This position plays a pivotal role in owning and driving a continuous improvement culture, focusing on Safety, Quality, Output, and Cost transformation through Unilever Manufacturing Standards.

You will lead the logistics operation and serve as the primary interface across Warehousing, Transportation, Planning, Customer Support, and Finance. Working alongside the leadership team, manufacturing engineers, and trainers, you will lead the 'Golden Triangle' to launch continuous improvement projects aligned with the site's Master Plan. Your day-to-day involves leading deployment planning, inventory allocation to meet service targets, and optimizing stock positioning while ensuring the execution of DRP processes and managing shipment accuracy.

This role is instrumental in transforming the factory into a 'lighthouse factory' by leading digital initiatives and real-time data analytics. You will champion the Unilever Manufacturing System (UMS), chair the Focused Improvement (FI) Pillar, and build a high-performing logistics team that embraces new technology to create a safe, fast-paced, and competitive operation.
