About the Team

GE Vernova is a global leader in power generation, electrification, and energy storage solutions. Our mission is to accelerate the world's transition to a sustainable energy future. The Manufacturing team in Pittsburgh is at the heart of this mission, producing critical components for power conversion and electrification systems. We foster a culture of operational excellence, safety, and continuous improvement, where every team member plays a vital role in delivering high-quality products to the global market.

About the Role

The Manufacturing Specialist - Production Supervision serves as the front-line leader for our shop floor operations in Pittsburgh. This role is designed to bridge the gap between strategic production goals and daily execution. You will be responsible for orchestrating the daily rhythm of the manufacturing floor, ensuring that production schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols are consistently met.

In this position, you will not only supervise daily activities but also drive a culture of engagement and accountability among production personnel. Your day will involve coordinating resources, resolving operational bottlenecks, and partnering closely with maintenance, quality, engineering, and materials teams to maintain seamless workflows. You will act as a coach and mentor, supporting the development of operators and team leaders while applying lean manufacturing principles to optimize efficiency and reduce waste. This role is ideal for a leader who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to driving continuous improvement across all manufacturing processes.

Hiring Process

Candidates selected for this role will undergo a structured interview process designed to assess both technical capabilities and cultural fit. The process typically includes an initial screening to verify qualifications, followed by a technical deep-dive into manufacturing operations and problem-solving scenarios. Subsequent rounds may involve system design discussions, team fit interviews with key stakeholders, and a final review with leadership. Successful candidates will be required to complete a background check and drug screening prior to the offer of employment.

Equal Opportunity & Culture

GE Vernova is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce and make employment decisions without regard to race, color, religion, national or ethnic origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, protected veteran status, or other characteristics protected by law. We believe that a variety of perspectives drives innovation and better outcomes for our customers and communities.

Application Instructions

To apply, please submit your resume and a cover letter detailing your relevant manufacturing leadership experience through the GE Vernova careers portal.
