We are seeking an exceptional Sr Environmental Specialist to join our team at our Cantera location in Warrenville, Illinois. In this role, you will serve as the program owner and administrator for critical environmental compliance issues and projects across our nuclear facilities. You will act as a subject matter expert, providing independent technical and regulatory support to ensure our site meets all environmental standards.
Your day-to-day involves managing complex environmental programs, including air permits, hazardous waste shipments, water discharge systems, and chemical safety regulations. You will represent Constellation Nuclear in meetings with regulatory agencies, engineering consultants, and legal counsel, while also developing relationships with industry trade groups to influence programs and regulations. As a key technical expert, you will review and interpret new environmental legislation, update procedures accordingly, and provide essential training to site personnel. This role is vital for maintaining our compliance status and driving our mission of a cleaner planet.
