As a Tube Reducer Operator, you will be the backbone of our manufacturing floor, responsible for setting up and operating pilgering machines and automatic saw tables. Your work ensures the precise transformation of raw materials into finished products through deburring and serialization processes. You will be the first line of defense for quality, strictly adhering to Manufacturing Engineering Instructions (MEI), Method Sheets (MS), and Operation Parameter Sheets (OPS) to maintain our high standards.
This is a critical role for those who thrive in a hands-on environment. You will not only operate machinery but also troubleshoot equipment faults, perform preventative maintenance, and collaborate with engineers and quality teams to resolve excursions. Your day involves interpreting complex process instructions, making precise adjustments using micrometers and gauges, and ensuring the workplace remains safe, clean, and orderly. You will also play a key role in training new operators, passing on the skills necessary to keep our production lines running efficiently.
