About the Role
This Senior Accountant position reports to the DFS North America Assistant Controller and is responsible for the integrity of our financial statements, including the timely and accurate submission of monthly results in compliance with US GAAP. We are seeking a collaborative and engaged team member who exhibits an understanding of end-to-end processes and financial reporting responsibilities and has a desire for personal development. The ideal candidate will exhibit the highest degree of ethics, a bias for action, and organizational aptitude via working seamlessly across teams in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleOwn monthly and quarterly close activities including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
- check_circlePrepare detailed fluctuation and trend analyses to validate financial reporting results
- check_circleEnsure compliance with US GAAP, local GAAP, and other regulatory reporting requirements
- check_circleSupport external and internal audits by preparing audit schedules and regulatory filings
- check_circleLead process improvement initiatives to streamline month-end and quarter-end close activities
- check_circleProvide ad-hoc support for special projects, system implementations, and business case development
- check_circleCollaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Tax, and Legal teams on accounting matters
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree in Accounting
- verified4+ years of relevant accounting experience
- verifiedUS GAAP proficiency
- verifiedCPA or equivalent certification preferred
- verifiedExperience with Oracle R/12 or similar ERP
- verifiedExperience with OneStream or similar EPM/consolidation tool
- verifiedStrong Excel skills
- verifiedAbility to travel up to 10%
Nice to Have
CPA or equivalent certification. Public accounting or industry experience in manufacturing. Experience with an offshore shared services organization. Interest in identifying new technologies or tools to drive efficiency. Experience with Oracle R/12 or other modern ERP, OneStream or another modern EPM/consolidation tool.
