About the Role
This position is based remotely with the flexibility to work from the Hoffman Estates, IL office as desired or needed. As a Lead Accountant, you will oversee and perform month-end close activities for specific process areas, partnering cross-functionally to ensure a timely and accurate close. This role is designed for an individual who drives innovation and transformation, possessing an end-to-end operational and technical understanding of their assigned processes. Success in this position requires a high level of engagement and the ability to communicate effectively across multiple audiences, fostering a collaborative environment among team members and business partners.

Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required or equivalent in education and experience
- verifiedCPA preferred
- verified5+ years of accounting experience with increasing responsibility including supervising significant areas of accounting
- verifiedStrong aptitude to understand technical accounting concepts under US GAAP
- verifiedStrong understanding of internal controls and financial reporting
- verifiedAdvanced knowledge of Excel and strong analytical skills
- verifiedExperience with Oracle, SmartView, and Power Query (Preferred)
