As a therapist at CenterWell Home Health, you'll play a vital role in helping patients regain strength, mobility, and independence—all from the comfort of their homes. By delivering personalized care that focuses on rehabilitation and functional improvement, you'll empower individuals to overcome physical limitations, perform everyday activities with confidence, and enjoy a better quality of life.
As a Home Health Speech Therapist, you will partner with patients to address disorders of speech, voice, language, hearing, and swallowing. Your day will involve evaluating patients, directing treatment plans, and utilizing professional judgment to minimize the effects of these conditions. You will administer diagnostic tests, interpret therapeutic treatments, and provide instruction on alternative communication systems when appropriate. Beyond clinical care, you will counsel patients, families, and healthcare staff, while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and professional conduct. You will also participate in care coordination, discharge planning, and internal staff development to ensure continuous growth and compliance with company policies.
