As one of the highest-performing charter networks in New York City, Classical Charter Schools is making a meaningful impact on education in the South Bronx. Recognized as a five-time National Blue Ribbon Award-Winning network, we outperform 97% of New York charters by providing a transformative education through a classical curriculum focused on art, music, Latin, debate, and character education.
At Classical, we believe great schools are built by thoughtful, dedicated educators and staff. We are an equal opportunity employer that values diversity at all levels of the organization. We strongly encourage applications from people of all backgrounds. All employees and applicants are treated based on merit and qualifications without regard to race, color, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, religion, gender, veteran status, or any other reason prohibited by law.
All staff members at Classical share an undying belief that maximizing student achievement is their primary goal. As a Speech and Language Pathologist, you will be focused on the school's mission and driven to meet a key responsibility: leading scholars to gap-closing academic gains.
Scholars must achieve mastery and advanced mastery of grade-level Common Core State Standards to succeed to and through college. To meet this challenging, mission-critical goal, you will work within a Response to Intervention model, serving on the school-based Scholar Services Team. Your day will involve providing small group, individual, and push-in services tightly aligned to IEP goals and the general education curriculum. You will collaborate with the school's leadership team, assist in developing standards-driven IEPs, and provide teachers with strategies and interventions for struggling scholars. You will receive regular feedback and support from administration and instructional leaders while ensuring all services remain compliant with mandates.
We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses. These tools assist our recruitment team but do not replace human judgment; final hiring decisions are ultimately made by humans. If you would like more information about how your data is processed, please contact us.
If you are ready to make a meaningful impact, we invite you to apply and grow with us.
